I only got cotton seed and onion started.
Around the full moon in April. I'll start some passion flowers.
We don't plant anything until May.

Peppylady, I am starting these in the greenhouse and they will hopefully be planted outside in May, I will probably plant some more directly into the soil in the middle of April if the weather is ok then.

At first glance I thought they were potatoes, then saw they were a close up shot of beens. What kind are they?

Alice, they are a runner bean called 'Stenner', they grow to over 6ft high and the bean pods get to a foot long! they are usually eaten when they are flat but I let some stay on to row fat with beans so I could save them to plant.
Rebecca, they are fun, these have red flowers and last year I planted red geraniums round them.

l did more seeds at the kitchen window today and was busy out front.

Horizon, I like the raised beds, my advice is to never have them mre than 4ft wide so you can reach right to the centre of them easily from either side, favourite gardening book is 'square foot gardening'
